TERMS & CONDITIONS:
*SMOKE ALARM SERVICE: All About Smoke Alarms Pty Ltd will provide a compliance certificate for the nominated property after every tenancy change, lease renewal or annual service. Standard batteries will be replaced free of charge. If a smoke alarm is missing, damaged, expired or beeping, you agree to All About Smoke Alarms Pty Ltd installing the appropriate smoke alarm to ensure compliance. Replacement fees are $35 for 9 Volt Photoelectric alarms and $135 for Hardwired Photoelectric alarm. If multiple hardwired alarms are present in the one property a discounted rate of $100 will be charged for each additional alarm installed. Compliance inspections after a break lease will be charged at $50 per visit. This subscription is non-transferable and will end at the sale of a property or transfer of management. AASA backed warranties are void if a continuous AASA annual maintenance subscription has not been sustained. AASA subscriptions are non -transferable and will end at the sale of a property or transfer of management.
*CORDED WINDOW SERVICE: While attending for a smoke alarm service, we will inspect all window coverings for compliance. If a corded window covering is not compliant, you agree to All About Smoke Alarms Pty Ltd installing the necessary cleats and warning labels. A fee of $5 will be charged for each corded window covering to be made compliant (if applicable). Note: We do not repair window coverings, any faults/maintenance required will be reported to the property manager.
*SAFETY SWITCH TESTING: While attending for a smoke alarm service a test of the safety switch (RCD) will be carried out via the built-in test switch, to ensure correct functioning. Any faults/maintenance required will be reported to the property manager.
